About Me

My career in journalism began in the fall of 2018, when I was nothing more than a Pitt freshman looking for something to do with my time. That led to my campus newspaper, which gave me the opening I needed to become a professional journalist.

After graduation, I was lucky enough to land a full-time job writing about college and professional sports while learning how to help my work break through in a saturated market. And currently, I work to deliver daily, detailed coverage of local college sports for a Pulitzer Prize-winning outlet.

A diverse range of experiences has given me a chance to see journalism from all different angles. How to leverage technology, relationships and information into writing the broader community wants and needs were lessons I learned on the job and as the industry evolved in real time.
